Absolutely dreadful. One step down from a run down youth hostel. Rooms dirty and small. Breakfast basic and delivered to room as there is no dining area. All in all - terrible.

Very good

Liked: Staff were very friendly. For the price the room was great. Central location so easy to find places to eat or buy food.
Disliked: Noisy outside overnight. You could minimise by clising the window, but still a lot going on in the street outside overnight.

Great location and good stay

Liked: Strategic location & surrounding with good restaurants. The space of the room is great for me as solo traveller and the staffs here are friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Guess the only thing that I can comment is the noise from outside of window as not sound-proof. All is perfect good.

Overall we were pleased to...

Liked: Excellent location. Easy access to the centre (5 mins) and the train station (10 mins) by foot. Friendly staff. Lots of good places to eat or buy food within a couple of minutes walk.
Disliked: The staircase smelled faintly of sewage, which was quite off-putting. There was a very loud nightclub / bar a few doors away, with significant street noise going on until 2.30am on Friday and Saturday nights. We were a little alarmed to see laundry bags piled up at the bottom of the stairwell, which is also the only fire escape.

Just for the location stay...

Liked: The location. There are no lifts but the staff is kind to help out carry our bags to the first floor. Rooms are clean but basic. Paid a premium amount for the stay as it was the graduation weekend. Not worth the money spent.
Disliked: Sewerage smell as soon as you enter the place. Second night the smell was in the room as well.

You get what you pay...

Liked: It was very central and clean enough. The room was quite spacious, it didn’t feel cramped
Disliked: The beds were very soft and obviously two single beds joined together so there was a gap in the middle. There was obvious mould in the bathroom and some items were quite worn like the mirrors and toilet bin. The shower was quite small. This can’t be avoided but it was quite loud at night till about 3am

Awful stay. I wouldn't recommend...

Liked: The sheets were clean. The location was good for where I needed to be.
Disliked: There is just a single door leading into the hotel and it felt claustrophobic. The stairways smelled of sewage. The room was noisy as it overlooked the street and it was the weekend. The bathroom light was so dim you could hardly see. The tv didn't work. There were no bedside sockets. There was no air conditioning so the room was hot and if you opened the window it was too noisy. One of the glasses had a lump of toothpaste in the bottom and my daughter drank from it before she realised. There was supposed to be a 24 hour reception and I was assured there was but there wasn't and after a night out with friends my daughter was locked out. When I asked for the second room key, the staff searched but couldn't find it. I was uneasy knowing someone had the other key. There was no lock on the inside of the room, just a chain.
