It was terrible

Liked: Nothing, the pub didn't open till 4pm the rooms were spread out and very old fashioned.
Disliked: Where to start, this was the worse place I have ever stayed. The pub didn't open till 4pm so we were left waiting around for 2 hours. We had arranged for an early breakfast as we had to catch a train the morning, spoke again with the lady when we got into the pub, she forgot so next morning we had to settle for toast and eggs. When this was served there was no butter on the dry toast with a fried egg on top it was disgusting, the milk was long life milk. I paid £60 for this mess of a breakfast. The night before we were at a celebration meal with more family and asked how we would get in if we were late. We were told to climb the fire escape, which with two of our party using walking aids was very difficult and hotel left the fire door open. I have never had such bad customer service. On leaving she even had the check to ask for more money, which was all paid weeks before. Where their good reviews came from is questionable. Speaking to locals they say they don't go in there. If anything they should refund my money.
