Very good

Liked: Very cool building with fabulous decoration and art. Room was lovely, although you have to make your own bed which is odd…
Disliked: Car parking is a shambles - no proper system. We were told there would be a space but there wasn’t one available to us, even though there were multiple empty spots in the car park. We ended up having to park at a public car park 15 mins walk away and schlep all our luggage- far from ideal, especially when travelling with small children. Staff were unhelpful about parking and just shrugged.

Liked: My sisters and I booked a 6 bed all girls dormitory room. The room was small but clean. Location is very good.
Disliked: We were not able to use the 3rd level bed because it was too high.

Nice location but not great...

Liked: It is a great location! Easily walkable to central Amsterdam and other areas. The surrounding park is stunning and a spot locals hangout. Great for spotting birds!
Disliked: Unfortunately, I did not feel the hostel provided good value. I was instantly left with a bad taste when they advertised additional costs to reserve a lower bunk bed or early check-in. Paying for luggage storage didn't feel great either. I've travelled around the world over the last 15 years, and this is the first hostel that has charged for luggage storage. If you get stuck with a top bunk in a 6-bed dorm, you are in a bed towering over two bunks below you. The middle bunk was awkward to get in and out of with a narrow ladder. The room was freezing with the A/C and the bathroom in the room was loud every time someone went in or out. It just didn't provide the comfortable, friendly vibe I am looking for in a hostel stay.

Liked: Nice location.
Disliked: The bedroom was really small and very expensive. Also we wanted to cancel one night and we didn't get any reaction from the hostel. Or they say contact Booking.com. Booking.com said contact the accommodation...
