Liked: Traveled for eclipse so pricey for off season. Very clean basic room wonderful host. Dan suggested walking to nearby brewery for pub grub.

Liked: location is fabulous if you're looking for nature and quiet. communal bikes provided by gauthiers are a great bonus!
Disliked: facilities are a little dated, but clean. mattresses weren't super comfortable, and bed frames/headboards were noisy and wobbly.

Stunning views for Solar Eclipse!

Liked: The rooms were updated, the staff was friendly and around if needed. It was clean and quiet. The views from the room were stunning. They provided kayaks and bikes to use. It felt very safe and it was easy to get around.
Disliked: I really don't have too much feedback. Overall it met all my expections and more.

No hot shower makes for...

Liked: There were some unexpected amenities, like free usage of boats and bikes. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The room had a moldy smell, at one point the bathroom door wouldn't open from the inside, the toilet seat couldn't stay up, the bedsheets weren't quite fitted right, there was no hot water at all, the room had a private balcony pointed out by the staff but which was inaccessible, and prices were hiked to around three times their normal rate due to the 2024 eclipse.
