Liked: Sparkling clean, felt brand new; convenient and inexpensive parking compared to other Santa Monica hotels.

Liked: My husband was in the hospital a block away. (It was an emergency situation while we were on vacation from the Midwest.) The hotel could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Every time I had to extend my stay since I didn't know when he'd be released, they found a way to do it.
Disliked: Pricy but worth it. It's California after all.
