Liked: We love staying at a locally owned hotel. We have been staying here for years. It has been good years with good memories.
Disliked: The owners are not keeping up with the upkeep. Bathroom repairs need to be done, and walls have been patched and painted which shows. The TV is old & has a limited-size viewing screen, & the coffee pot was broken. The beds are very uncomfortable with dated spreads. The furniture is not well-kept. It was borderline icky. We get it, & that's why we stayed. Our visit in June was on the 1st floor with a cleaner updated room. This July visit was on the 2nd floor where the issues were.We are very disappointed that the pool still isn't fixed & open. The breakfast offered is subpar. Having a hotel includes daily repairs & replacements. The rooms don't have to be fancy, however, they should look better than a 20-year-old space. The wood furniture could be painted to blend with the country environment, but leaving it stained & marred isn't acceptable. The beds do wear out. The little plastic bed risers slip & bust apart. Please consider doing regular upkeep.

Disliked: Poor tasting breakfast. Shower had an old handheld shower nozzle that only had one stream and even though it was a walk in handicap access like requested it was still not very safe due to large bump getting into shower. The parking lot and walkways have issues and need repair before someone gets hurt

Comfortable and easy stay in...

Liked: Our family lives in the area so the location was perfect for us. The hotel has good basic accommodations, is very clean and the staff are so friendly and accommodating! Nice homemade cake in entry for guests .
