Delightful stay in comfortable hotel

Liked: I had a delightful stay, the room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Breakfasts were lovely, the hotel is centrally situated with a good car park. Staff were very friendly and the evening meals I had there were delicious!
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Very nice to stay in such an historic building in the centre of town, with parking. Staff were very helpful & accommodating to our needs.
Disliked: The fire doors on the rooms were quite heavy!

Liked: Found the hotel / pub very welcoming and friendly
Disliked: The bed was uncomfortable very hard we both found it a job to sleep due to the hardness of the bed

Wonderful oldie worldly hotel with...

Liked: The staff were a real credit to the hotel especially the lovely lady waitress who apparently is retiring after 53 years there. It was my birthday and the staff gave me a birthday card and put up bunting. All the meals were excellent.
Disliked: We liked everything

Liked: Chefs special menu was outstanding for the price.
Disliked: Double bed was a bit small but should have checked before booking
