Liked: Comfortable room with separate sitting area. Tea and biscuits appreciated!Excellent "pub" dinner and breakfast.Very friendly staff
Disliked: Car park was pretty full and only just found a space.

Pricey for what you get.Hotel...

Liked: Lovely helpful staff.Readily changed our room when we had an issue with the shower & toilet due to poor water pressure .Parking on site was a bonus.
Disliked: More a pub with rooms rather than a hotel .Lovely historic building but rooms could benefit from refurbishment.Bathrooms & plumbing need attention.

Liked: Good location. Ample parking. BreKfast was standard. Staff friendly.
Disliked: Room small and in need of upgrade.

Food was very good, breakfasts...

Liked: Lovely dining room and friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you.
Disliked: Road a bit busy , although windows secondary glazed so noise was not a problem.

Exceptional

Liked: Our room didn't have a working TV, so they upgraded our room. The staff were exceptional - there was nothing they wouldn't do to help.
Disliked: TV didn't work in our original room, but it was more than compensated for by the replacement room and helpfulness of the staff.

A decent place to stay

Liked: No complaints. Car parking was easy and convenient, and the situation in the middle of town was great. Dinner was fine and breakfast OK but not especially memorable,
Disliked: Not keen on the selection of beers in the bar, and I would have liked more choice at breakfast. Nothing really to complain about, and the room was good value but I can't conjure up much enthusiasm.
