Excellent ---- comfortable and welcoming

Liked: I stayed on a very busy Saturday night and I must say the Management and staff were working exceptionally well considering the influx of people.They dealt with everything very well, being under great pressure. It a so busy ----Everyone was so friendly and accommodating despite being clearly overwhelmed... Great team spirit....Rooms comfortable, bed especially...quiet, cool.~Food great

Liked: Location in village was very pleasant.
Disliked: I was checked it with little pleasantries and handed the key to the room! We arrived just after 21:00 and were told no food was available.Nobody seemed to know what time breakfast was served !!When we arrived at breakfast at 7:45 we were told that we were too early and were offered a coffee until the kitchen opened.We ordered a large fried breakfast. After the breakfast arrived, we were given an apology as no mushrooms were available.From what I understand, the pub is under new management!!

Delightful stay in comfortable hotel

Liked: I had a delightful stay, the room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Breakfasts were lovely, the hotel is centrally situated with a good car park. Staff were very friendly and the evening meals I had there were delicious!
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Very nice to stay in such an historic building in the centre of town, with parking. Staff were very helpful & accommodating to our needs.
Disliked: The fire doors on the rooms were quite heavy!
