Great place to stay near...

Liked: John the host was very accommodating, due to a snow storm we had to change in our stay at the last minute. We had a 3 night stay instead of 2. The room was very nice, king bed and breakfast was really very good.

World class and a truly...

Liked: Absolutely exceeded high expectations; classic decor, world class bed and linens for an outstanding sleep, great shower and bathroom, huge closet, outstanding host and breakfast. Plus the location could not have been better. Am easy 10 out of 10 in every category and I would look forward to returning one day if I ever am in the state capital area again!
Disliked: Only that I was not able to stay a second night or had arrived earlier so that I could have perused the many books and curios and sat and enjoyed the wonderful public areas in the house.

A perfect stay.

Liked: I selected this b&b for the location, but everything about it exceeded my expectations. It was charming, clean, comfortable and just had that extra something that makes a stay memorable. Maybe it was the dogs, the gardens, or the delicious breakfast. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Liked: John is a fantastic host and it immediately felt like home. He‘s decorated the house with so much love and attention to detail. And he‘s also a great chef!We‘d gladly stay with him again.

Exceptional

Lovely host, beautiful heritage home,...

Liked: Our host, John, made delicious breakfasts each day we were there, such as homemade French toast with local fruit and maple syrup, and frittatas with local vegetable as a side. He also accommodated my friend's non-dairy request. It was excellent.
Disliked: There isn't anything to dislike in this quiet, charming bed and breakfast.

What a great location to...

Liked: We were greeted with a smile and have gained life long friend. Thank you for the amazing experience. We will be back. Nigel and Margaret were wonderful greeters. Already miss them.

Luxury, hospitality, great food, quirky...

Liked: Gardner Farm Inn is a delight. Its like staying in a cabinet of curiosities because the shared areas are filled with fine art, vintage photos, and interesting collections of antique objects and curios. It was so much fun exploring! The beds are luxurious and comfortable, bathrooms are beautifully updated and roomy. John was a great host and breakfasts were delicious (we stayed two nights). There are two greyhounds in residence and they are extremely calm, well behaved and very soft to pet. The neighborhood is quiet and safe on the outskirts of Troy.
Disliked: Everything was great, no problems at all.
