Liked: John is the consummate host. He stayed up late to allow for a late night check in, served delicious breakfast, and was the highlight of our trip to tour RPI

Liked: The hospitality and overall experience were absolutely phenomenal. If (when?) I find myself in Troy again, I will definitely stay here!!!

Lovely place to be, friendly...

Liked: John, the owner and, the host is awesome. He made us feel at home from the word 'go'. His friendliness is not artificial and he genuinely loves people and that's a hallmark of a good human being. Breakfast was filled with nutrients, delicious flavors, and high on calories. Simply put, the breakfast is great here. John makes a Quiche like no other, enjoyed. The banana pancakes were delicious too.
Disliked: Maybe Television in rooms? though there is a large 54" television in the reading room for guests to watch. Having a television in rooms makes the stay at Inn's or hotel more comfortable, and made us relax further.

A home away from home!

Liked: Exceptional hospitality provided by John--in a beautiful and cared for environment. Accommodated my request for an early check-in. Prepared a delicious breakfast that met my dietary needs!
Disliked: Everything was perfect--I would highly recommend. I've stayed at the Gardner Farm Inn multiple times and look forward to returning for future stays in the area.

Memorable!

Liked: The two greyhounds were excellent hosts…John was great too and the breakfast excellent!
Disliked: Minimal shelf or counter space in our bathroom and I thought additional places to hang towels would have been nice. Perhaps an over the door rack.

Liked: First time staying at this inn. It immediately felt warm and welcoming. It was wonderful to see all the beautiful collections and artifacts. The icing was meeting the owner, John. He made us feel like family. He is caring and incredibly attentive. He is also an amazing cook!

A unique B&B that was...

Liked: John, our host was exceptional. He was very welcoming, and made us feel like we were old friends. His home is full of wonderful antiques, each with their own story. Breakfast was delicious! We had a memorable stay.
Disliked: Nothing
