Disliked: The motel is located in a questionable neighborhood, lots of homeless people and transient types.

Close to everything...

Liked: Very accommodating, moved us from an 2nd floor room to a large ground floor room because of a foot injury. The goodie bags when we arrived.
Disliked: Door lock was a bit finicky,

walking distance to restaurants and...

Liked: Owner very, very friendly. We received goody bags with snacks, fruit and water bottles. Owners very accomodating of our SUV with trailer, as the parking lot can be a little tricky to manoeuvre.
Disliked: room on street side, a little busy in the evening, but quiet for the night.We had to unplug the loud refrigerator as it was keeping us awake

Exceptional value amongst inflated prices...

Liked: The owner/manager of the motel was one of the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met. He set the bar for hospitality!
Disliked: The walls seemed quite thin, allowing much of the road noise into the room. Some of the guests were quite loud as well.

Best value in great city

Liked: This is a great motel if you are looking to be budget minded and get the best bang for your buck. Not the best part of town but didn't feel unsafe. The gentleman who manages(owns?) the place is such a gracious host. He gives you a breakfast bag with lots of goodies and fresh fruit. The rooms are comfortable with a great view of Pikes Peak. Located close to the downtown area, old Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. Lots of attractions in the area (Garden of the Gods is best).
