Disliked: We booked this as an overnight stay having driven from Naples, as we wanted to explore the Everglades before going to the Keys. Little did we know that this location is also known as a truckers stop and on arrival we were shocked to see where the hotel was located and even more so when we saw the rooms!! This is an extremely old, very run down motel which I think people live in (rather than a resort). We walked into the room and immediately walked out again deciding it was better to just drive another three hours to key west rather than stay at this hotel for one night. The room had an overpowering smell of bleach and was old and dated. The front door looked like it had been kicked in and the peep hole was stuffed full of tissues … I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling the US for leisure
