Exceptional

Great host, great stay
Liked: Excellent friendly host and located in a green and safe neighbourhood with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Main part of city is about 1 hr walk away.
Disliked: This is an old property which is part of its charm but has not been upgraded/renovated. AC is a little noisy when on so it couldn’t be left on at night which could have been an issue if the weather was more severe. Apart from this rooms were comfortable.

Perfect! So much character.
Liked: Absolutely beautiful house and room. Why stay in a boring hotel when you can stay somewhere with so much character?! The owner is lovely and very helpful, even letting us leave our luggage there at 7am the day we checked in. There are so many great places to eat within walking distance. Bed very comfortable. Love the balcony. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Authentic stay in the Garden...
Liked: - Our host was super friendly and easy to reach to coordinate our arrival- There are breakfast snacks and drinks available every morning. The banana bread and cupcakes were so yummy- It's a super walkable neighborhood with a lot of restaurants and shops- Spacious rooms and overall quiet- Authentic experience to stay in such a home in New Orleans instead of a random hotel
Disliked: Since it's an older house, there was sadly a dust mite issue. My allergies started up from the first night and did not stop until the day we left. So, if you have a dust mite allergy, bring meds and bare with it as I did or don't stay here.

Perfect stay for us.
Liked: This property was perfect for us. The New Orleans style home was a great surprise when we pulled up virtually outside. Raynell was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The room with balcony was perfect and the continental Brekky was very adequate. The neighborhood was safe and very pretty. Although the centre of town was about 1.5 kms away it was a pleasant walk or the public transport was easy to navigate.
Disliked: Nothing.
