Fun stay in the city center
Liked: The location was great and the staff were very friendly & helpful. They were very accommodating with moving my Mom to an accessible room. Its a unique hotel to stay at - like visiting a bit of history.
Disliked: Finding the hotel was a challenge-a sign on the outside facing the street would be helpful. Be sure to let them know if you have mobility limitations. The upstairs rooms have a couple steps to go into the room, and the bathroom has two steps to go down into it. And the tub is also sunken down a step. We were there during a warm week in April and it was a hot in the room with no ventilation. A fan helped.

May be great for others; we had issues
Liked: Beautiful 17th-century building located near the Cathedral and walking distance to other major sites. Nice interior design with thoughtful touches. The staff were friendly and the breakfast good.
Disliked: The rooms werent air-conditioned as advertised (entire building was still set for heat even though daytime temps were in the 80s and the downtown location was too busy for opening windows at night) and this situation was not clarified for us until our second day. The power in our initial room kept shutting off and there was an unpleasant smell; the hotel facilitated a transfer to an available lower-grade room and gave us a substantial discount, which was nice.
