Nice location but we just...

Liked: Location is good. The promenade is great for walking.Got a room upgrade which provided a partial / side view of the sea.Bed was clean and comfortable.Common areas of the hotel were fine.There were a few issues during our stay but management did engage and sought to resolve them.
Disliked: Furniture in the room was somewhat worn and scuffed. We felt that the accommodation overall just looked a bit tired and dated, and in that respect we were disappointed. We asked if there was another room available, and were grateful that the request was granted.The pool / spa facilities are sparse and I would suggest dull and outdated by today's standards. We love a steam room and jacuzzi but there was neither, nor were there any loungers etc. to relax on in that area. Modernization needed.We ordered a meal through the Room Service app but unfortunately the food didn't come as per the order. It was only partially correct and by the time the matter was resolved, the food was no longer hot enough. We managed to get a refund but obviously the meal experience we had looked forward to had been ruined. Next morning my partner ordered a vegetarian breakfast, but it arrived with 2 slices of bacon added to the plate. Management apologized and offered a fresh breakfast for her, but as you can imagine, by that stage we were disappointed and frustrated.

Liked: Excellent cooked breakfast. Great location on the prom
Disliked: Dated room with poor storage options. Continental breakfast options average. While some staff were excellent others were a bit businesslike and less friendly
