Negative experience.

Liked: Location, affordability, size of rooms
Disliked: We checked into room 309 between 8:45 and 9:00 PM with our two young children after a long 13-hour drive. Initially, we were quite pleased with the room and excited to begin our seven-day stay, especially given the positive reviews we had read online. We selected the third floor specifically for its view, which did not disappoint.However, shortly after unpacking, we noticed a caulked-over hole in the bathtub. We did not initially think much of it, as we trusted the standards and reputation of the hotel. We then gave our children a bath to settle them in for the evening. After draining the tub and beginning to get our children dressed for bed, there was a knock at the door. My husband answered and was met by a man who did not introduce himself but stated that water was leaking into the room below us.During the conversation, this individual eventually identified himself as the head of maintenance after being asked directly. We informed him that we had just given our children a bath and showed him the caulked area of the tub. We politely asked him to wait a moment while we finished getting our children ready and into bed so that we could allow him to enter. However, when we opened the door shortly after, he was no longer there.I then went to the front desk to report what had happened, only to be told that maintenance claimed we had left the water running while our children were in the tub—an accusation that strongly implies we left our young children unattended in a potentially dangerous situation. I want to emphasize that this was absolutely not the case, and I find the implication both upsetting and unacceptable.Although, not an important sidenote, head of maintenance knew exactly what room to come to, which insinuates that the problem was previously known about and all that was done was the hole caulked over.Ultimately offered to be moved to a separate room on the 1st floor and refunded for the night.

Liked: The price, the location & the breakfast!!
Disliked: It is too hot in the area where the elevators are and the hallways didnt feel cold, im not sure if the ac wasn't working in that area or if they dont have vents around that area to keep fresh but that is the only thing I didnt like other than that loved the great staff and clean place!
