Disliked: The blinds wouldn’t close. The bathroom was tiny. The bed base is dirty.

Liked: It was a central location, clean, comfortable and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good selection. It was freshly made to order. Catering staff were friendly. Service was prompt. Despite no parking on the location, there was a car park close by which offered a good discount.

Superb

Mixed bag but great location...

Liked: The hotel has some really nice features and the staff were helpful. The breakfast is really superb and very generous.
Disliked: The first room we were offered was right next to the kitchen extractor, so it was smelly and noisy. We asked to move room and they kindly offered another one. This was in some ways nicer but some really poor detail, e.g. window blinds literally falling to pieces, and bathroom looking rather shabby. Also, the on the booking.com website the first of the facilities they listed for this hotel was parking, which led us to believe parking came with the hotel, and we were very disappointed to find out on the spot that that was not at all the case. The overnight parking in a car park about 10 min away cost us an extra £25.

Wonderful. Will go back

Liked: Great location in the middle of walking to everything. Breakfast was fabulous. We ate dinner there as well. Excellent staff was very accommodating and helped us with our luggage up the stairs.
