Liked: Our stay was lovely. The hotel is located in a wonderful area just a block away from the Angel of Independence and walking distance to Chapultepec Park! There are also tons of restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and super helpful. We would definitely return.

Mixed Experience: Great Location, But...

Liked: The hotel's location was excellent, with a wide variety of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Even without booking the hotel breakfast, finding great places to eat nearby was incredibly convenient. Overall, dining options were a major highlight of our stay.
Disliked: Hotel's facilities felt quite dated, especially the bathroom toilet and the elevators, which showed their age. During my stay, my bathroom door lock was broken. While the staff did send someone to fix it, I still had issues with the door getting stuck and needing to be forced open afterwards. Additionally, my friend's room experienced a leaking bathroom floor, which was resolved by the hotel staff moving her to a different room.A significant concern arose when, after allowing cleaning staff into my room during week-long stay, I returned one evening to find our room door not securely closed. I immediately reported this to the front desk. They promptly sent someone to use their master key to check who last entered the room, and the investigation concluded that the cleaning staff likely hadn't closed the door properly. This incident was unsettling, though fortunately, nothing was missing.Our departure also involved an unpleasant experience regarding airport transfer. On our first day, we arranged an airport transfer through the hotel, and they introduced us to a driver. However, on the day of our departure, the driver suddenly informed us that he couldn't enter the area due to a parade. When we informed the bell staff responsible for transportation, he initially denied responsibility, stating the driver was not their personnel. We had to insist that the driver was introduced and arranged by the hotel. After this insistence, the hotel staff eventually assisted in finding another driver for us, but the initial unwilling and dismissive attitude was very disappointing.Finally, on our check-out day (check-out time is 12 PM), both my friend's and my room key cards stopped working simultaneously before 12 PM after we went out for breakfast. The front desk claimed it was due to demagnetization, but given that both cards failed at the same time after working perfectly for a week, this felt like an excuse. Liked: Location is good, close to the Reforma Avenue and Zona Rosa, with lots of restaurants and bars. The Deluxe room is very spacious. it was very clean and got cleaning service every day. We got free amenities like cookies and desert. Breakfast was great but not included in the price.Price was good, we got a booking.com offer. but at full price there are better options in Reforma Avenue.
Disliked: They only put water bottles once. Since in Mexico city water is not safe to drink or even to brush your teeth., other hotels refill water on a daily basis.Hotel room is very noisy. Windows are not sound proof so you can hear all the music from bars in the neighborhood until late night, people on the street, cars and honks (even though we were on the 8th floor). Doors are also not sound proof so you will hear every noise from the hall. So i didnt get a single good night of sleep here.We requested for late check out and they said no, allegedly because they were full. However i went to the website and the same room type was fully available for extra nights.
