Galaxie Inn, a hidden gem

Liked: Inexpensive stay at an older motel.The unit was downstairs with a king bed with a bathtub/shower combo, which was very clean and smelled pleasant.In the unit there is a full sized fridge/freezer,a small table and 2 chairs,a microwave, a coffee pot, a 2 burner stove top with exhaust fan, cupboards, and a full sized kitchen sink.There is also a dresser,work table,desk chair,full-size mirror, flat screen tv,luggage rack,clothes rack with hangers,a nice heater/AC unit, and blackout curtains.The management was nice, and we had a quick check-in.It is right in Philomath,Oregon, off the main highway,within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and a small park.The town is quite small, just over 5800 people.A plus is its close to Corvallis and only 45 miles to the beach.

Disliked: Chair and table squeezed into a room only big enough for the bed.
