clean, welcoming, comfortable and good...

Liked: the area was excellent, entrance to the hotel impressive and very clean. the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. the bedroom was satisfactory fora single room, very clean with a stock of tea , coffee and water
Disliked: whilst the bathroom was clean and well stocked the shower was virtually unusable as it was so small. once in the cubicle it was almost impossible to move or to shower properly. the lift was out of order which was inconvenient although the staff kindly carried my case up to my room.

Good for a short stay

Liked: Good location. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Bathroom in the room needs a deep clean, lots of mould and silver fish present on arrival.

Liked: Location, very close to underground.Breakfast really good.Friendly staff.Clean room.
Disliked: It's not a didn't like, but more like a recommendation: since the room and bathroom are small as we know, it would be really helpful to have some shelves in the bathroom for guests to put their things. We ended up needing to let them on the ground.

Don’t get stuck in the...

Liked: Great location near the natural museum and the underground.
Disliked: They put me in a basement room, which was in two star condition. The carpet was damaged and the linen was past it due date. The bed and pillows were unacceptable. Both were hard and cheap. And they tried to charge me £6 for a roll with butter. To their credit, they gave me a free breakfast. Still not a four star experience.

Superb

Liked: I thought the location was brilliant. I was there for the London Marathon and the location from the hotel to the nearest station was great. I had stayed with friends but we were in seperate rooms so I had the room to myself. It had everything I needed, from a comfy bed to great toilet facilities. The staff were very friendly and very acommodating. The lift was broken during my stay but they explained everything and were willing to grab bags from rooms for guests if necessary.
Disliked: There was nothing I did not like.

Great location,Good value super staff...

Liked: Excellent value .Staff exceptional very attentive service as good as 5 star but not the budget House keeping very good .
Disliked: Showers too small..Unfortunately lift was out of order ...so guests had to use stairs making for a noisey night .That said staff very apologetic and carried my case up the stairs to my room .Also was able to move my friend to a ground floor room .
