I would consider staying here...

Liked: The location is great, I love the sea. The breakfast was very good and I liked that there was staff there to serve the hot food. I also liked the idea of breakfast being takeout,(take back to your room), as this avoided the overcrowding to get breakfast. The bed was comfortable and enough pillows. Internet and television worked well.
Disliked: The thing I didn’t like made a bad impression because it was a first impression. The room had an odor of damp, mildew, just funky, wet laundry kind of smell. We did get used to it after a while but were reminded each time we returned to our room. I understand the challenge being in a high humidity environment but perhaps a dehumidifying system at least enough to get the funky odour under control. Or perhaps pull the carpet.

Nice place to stay!

Liked: 4 of us stayed here the night before our cruise. Next time, we'll stay an extra day. So much within walking distance. Next to the beach. Enjoyed our short stay. We changed our room from 2nd floor to first, and office was very accommodating. Allowed us to store our luggage since the room wasn't ready yet.
Disliked: Breakfast was not that great.
