With its elevated position Gabriel House looks out over Cork's cathedral spires and the harbor. A 5-minute walk from the center the house is surrounded by landscaped gardens offering rooms with attached bathroom and free WiFi. Most rooms at Gabriel House Guest house boast stunning views of the garden and countryside. Rooms all feature TVs. All guests have access to filtered water and fresh ice available from reception. Dating from the early 1900s Gabriel House features 10-feet-high ceilings a characteristic staircase and many original features. Guests can relax in the garden and patio to the rear of the property while helpful staff can provide city maps and recommendations for trips or restaurants. Guests can pick out freshly laid eggs for breakfast each morning from the house's own resident hens. A traditional Irish breakfast is served daily and made from local ingredients while breads biscuits scones are freshly home-baked every day. Kent Train Station is 656 feet from the bed and breakfast and Cork Airport is a 15-minute drive. The Blarney Stone is just 5 miles away and Kinsale is 30 minutes' drive away.

Liked: It is very clean and the staff is extra nice. We could use the sauna and relax in the very nice garden before a trip in the city. Breakfast is very good.

What a wonderful and interesting...

Liked: I was really impressed with the staff - they were friendly and helpful. The room was nice although possibly a little smaller than we'd like - perhaps down to the fact that we also had our dog with us. The garden is exceptional and is partially given over to hens and ducks as well as small birds in an aviary. The breakfast is also excellent.

Liked: Amazing staff, so friendly and gave us so many recommendations and tips for the city. Spotless accommodation and very central to city.
Disliked: Rooms were a tad hot! There was a fan in the room thankfully.
