Liked: Breakfast was lovely, wide range to choose from and good hours, breakfast staff were very helpful.Private Hotel Car Park.Room was sufficient - confused by the plugs in the room. To use the iron we needed to stand by the front door or in the bathroom. No main power sockets in the main room.
Disliked: Location was not very good - building work going next door and right next to the train station and a large car park that operated all night.Staff seemed confused when we asked for a drink at the bar - seemed as though they were used to being asked for a drink.

Usually good service, but not...

Liked: Good sized room and great breakfast. Serving until 12 is a welcome change.
Disliked: The reception staff were not helpful with the room changes insisting the upgrade should be an additional charge even though we had a free upgrade through booking.com. This happened both checking in and out which was embarrassing and awkward for us and other guests waiting. Previously we have stayed here with excellent service though so it depends on the individual reception staff.
