Beautiful stay in a beautiful...

Liked: The hotel is beautiful and well staffed. Many hotels have gotten away from extra services since the pandemic. I am glad to see the French Quarter Inn has not. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The bar closed too early.

Liked: We really loved the hotel. The complimentary wine&cheese and milk & cookies tastings were really nice along with icecubes and chocolate to the room in the evening. It had a nice backyard with lovely flowers were you could enjoy a glass of wine. The hotel is located in the old part of Charleston and right next to the market.

Liked: The breakfast is a huge disappointment. We’ve stayed at less expensive hotels that had incredible breakfasts. Expected more from this hotel at this price point. Hard to believe at $700 per night you pay for parking. Very disappointed in the Charleston experience this trip. We used to come there once a year. This was first trip since Covid. Food was twice as expensive everywhere. Hotel rates are through the roof and the Market was a letdown. Mostly expensive junk being sold. Also had to deal with teenagers approaching to ask for money for roses. Even saw them arguing with people. Why is that allowed? All that being said, other than crazy higher prices and the so-called breakfast, The French Quarter is still a great place and super comfortable bedding. Great location and the staff was very accommodating, especially our valet, Jay.

Liked: Everything about this hotel was perfect. The concierge was kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The wine, cheese and fruit was amazing. The breakfast was delicious.

Liked: Loved the French Quater Inn. Hotel staff was fantastic. Such a great vibe. 100% recommended, and you truly can't fund a better experience in Charleston.

The "extras" were amazing!

Liked: The old world charm was delightful and the decor was outstanding. We loved the location - central to everything and easy to walk the city. The extras such as wine and cheese, breakfast, milk and cookies at night were a real bonus!
