Amazing staff, great location and...

Liked: The staff were great, always very helpful and friendly. The hotel was well located, just on the edge of the french quarter it was within easy access of the main attractions, however, it was quiet enough to still offer an escape from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon street. The hotel was clean and smart and had an interesting history. The courtyard was beautiful
Disliked: The bathroom doors could be tricky. The locks were push activated and would be triggered by opening the door compleltey as the door stopper would engage the lock. This locked us out of our bathroom unknowingly when we closed the door. We should have paid more attention to the booking as we booked windowless rooms by accident - not the hotels fault but something we didn't even think to be aware of as extremley uncommon where we come from.

Our stay in New Orleans...

Liked: Every time we stay at The French Market Inn every staff member is in the absolute best mood. Very friendly. The entire property is well-kept and clean. Our favorite hotel in the entire city!
Disliked: There isn’t anything we don’t like, but if one thing could be improved, it would be the lighting in the room. It’s good but could be better.

Great place to stay !...

Liked: The location was ideal ! It was close to everything (shops, restaurants, must-see attractions), and very quiet at the same time. The room was comfy and clean.The outside was very pretty, with fountains, a sort of patio area, and a pool.Also, for people looking for an hotel that provides breakfast, know that it is really not a must in this area, as you have places that serves breakfast just next to the hotel, and Café du Monde is also located almost across the street.
Disliked: Nothing !Maybe one recommandation would be to provide a bottle of water in the room, but other than that, the room had everything I needed.

This was the perfect “home...

Liked: This is absolutely our favorite hotel in New Orleans. 1. It’s beautiful with the exposed bricks, antique furniture and cozy courtyard. 2. You can walk to anything you want to see from there. This trip we walked to a concert at the Saenger, Royal Street, Bourbon Street and the French Market. 3. Great/convenient parking setup. 4. The staff is always nice and incredibly helpful.
Disliked: Nothing. The is absolutely nothing to not like.
