Great accommodations, shady fee structure...

Liked: The room was great! Nicely decorated and it felt very cozy.
Disliked: The illegal fees you charge per item in the restaurant. Per federal law, you cannot exceed 3.5% of the total bill and you are charging $1 per item on your restaurant menu. While you comply with NY law with transparency by posting the fee in your menu, you are legit making a profit from your customers by charging the credit card fee the way you are. That was absolute robbery of your guest choosing to dine in your restaurant. Had I had my wife and kids with me and we all ordered 3-4 items each, you would have charged me an extra $12-$16. You are also not so clear about the automatic 20% gratuity you put on all checks regardless of the number of guests. I didn't catch that until I looked at my bill. Honestly, this was the only thing I found wrong, but it was a huge "wrong"! It is against the law to charge this much in credit card fees and you need to be transparent about the 20% gratuity, not put in fine print.

A very unexpected wonderful experience.

Liked: The 2 ladies who assisted me with the check-in were extremely nice and accommodating. I ordered dinner from the restaurant and one of ladies was very kind to bring it to my room. I ordered the korean style salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The extras that came with the meal were a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable. As a lone female traveling i felt very safe. I wish my stay was longer. Everything was great!! I would definitely stay here again and most certainly will eat at the restaurant. The food was fantastic
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was great.
