Disliked: Small room. Grey & somber. No water bottles in fridge.

It was okay, but not...

Liked: Good location, able to walk to many restaurants, pubs and shops
Disliked: No ice available. Restaurant for breakfast was across and down the street. (Not convenient)

Disliked: No head shower cap , no slippers in the room No safe box

Lovely lovely hotel in Edinburgh.

Liked: It’s a lovely hotel with an unassuming entrance. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful (shout out to Robert). The location is fantastic with Edinburgh Castle just up the hill. Lots of eateries around and free parking from 6.30pm to 8.30am. Breakfast was in a cafe across the road but it was a really nice place with friendly staff.
Disliked: Some people might find having breakfast in a cafe across the road a little inconvenient but it wasn’t a problem for us.
