Have stayed at Fraser Suites...

Liked: Location couldn't be better. Just a few steps off the Royal Mile. Hotel has character ... translate, it's in an old building like most of Edinburgh. However, it has been nicely updated. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Disliked: Breakfast selections were nice but wish there were some hot items prepared on site. Also wish the hotel had a restaurant/bar. Didn't expect the one next door to be shut down while we were there. One other heads up, there is an elevator, but even so, you do have to use some stairs to get to some rooms. Be sure to let hotel know if you have any accessibility issues.

Fantastic modern, comfortable hotel in...

Liked: Location could not be better! Fantastic. Modern, clean and attractive hotel with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
Disliked: Although well-appointed, the rooms were a bit too small. We had been travelling for awhile with two bigger suitcases. It made it difficult to navigate around the rooms.

Superb value for money in...

Liked: Location was perfect - close to everything but very peaceful. Room was well equipped ( excellent hairdryer ) , spotless and very comfortable.
Disliked: Bathroom is far too hot - you can’t adjust towel rail temperature and it comes with a warning about just how hot it is .

Excellent location, great rooms

Liked: The location was excellent, it's right by the Royal Mile, really great restaurants all around, not far off from the tram either. Rooms were clean and spacious too, very high ceilings. The staff was very polite and kind as well.

Right in the heart of...

Liked: It was right in the heart of old town and close to everything. It had a nice gym. It had a good continental breakfast. I loved the laundry room. The machines and detergent were free.
