Excellent stay

Liked: Location is excellent, staff were super friendly and happy to help.
Disliked: Unfortunately I did not research enough as there was no restaurant, I would not have booked with no restaurant as I had a toddler with me.. However I would stay again only without young children. Although this is not a great review it does not detract away from the fact I would definitely stay again it was just this one time experience the hotel did not meet my expectations and that was my fault for not researching before my visit.

Exceptional

Liked: Clean, quiet, nicely decorated, modern bathrooms and facilities, excellent location (could see castle and North Sea from room) to train (easy walk) and to many sights including Royal Mile (directly off, less than a block), restaurants, sight seeing tours, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood House and even walking distance to beaches. Friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

Great option in Edinburgh! Ticks...

Liked: I liked how the front desk manager sorted everything with a smile when we had a small issue. The room was amazing!
Disliked: The wee shop is a joke! I don’t think it should be marketed. :))

Liked: Handy location for my son’s wedding. Plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast.

Comfortable but very expensive simply...

Liked: Location very comfortable
Disliked: Very High cost for what is simply a room.Room was clean but tired well used furniture . Wardrobe didn’t close properly wardrobe and dressing table/desk scratched and chipped bathroom needed attention as shower door didn’t fit properly and tiling was black with damp.

Liked: Location was excellent for our purpose - perfect for work - staff on entry were lovely and rooms were lovely with beautiful products
Disliked: We were late in from working 00.30 had to change rooms because of a leak in the bathroom - it took forever to get a room re made - we finally got to bed at 1.45am - maybe having rooms ready would be better than having to make them up when you have such a situation? I do believe also some compensation should be offered in such a situation

The place to stay when...

Liked: Our second time. Will highly recommend for Edinburgh stay. Close to Edinburgh Castle and lots of very good restaurants nearby. Apartment is clean!

Brilliant location and great staff,...

Liked: Location is amazing. Minutes from train station. Minutes from castle. Seconds to Royal Mile. Staff brilliant, helpful and professional
Disliked: Room slightly noisy. Buzz even when air con off. Public toilet opposite, hand drier going off even late evening. Communal door shutting did shake the room
