Great hotel

Liked: The location is great everything is next to you, and I’ll stay in this hotel again and again
Disliked: I have some “remarks” more than being “not like”. If you are coming from the train station with luggage, it would be better to take a taxi because you will take high stairs or walk for a distance with your luggage to reach the hotel. Also, make sure if you have a family with elderly people not to be in the 7th floor because the left reaches only to the 6th floor then u will take the stairs, however, the view from the 7th is worth it

A great stay, and would...

Liked: Great location. Quiet side street. Easy access to buses trains and trams and all the sights by foot as well. Breakfast was good, and fresh pastries.Linens and bed were good and a view from the window.

Bad

enjoyable but could have been...

Liked: location was okay, loved the idea of the umbrella hire( combined with donation to charity) as we had quite a bit of rain
Disliked: the room was particularly noisy from outside due to ill fitting windows, also didn't replenish tea an coffee facilities and for £300 a night I think that's a bit tight

Brilliantly located small hotel.

Liked: This hotel is brilliantly located, in a small and quiet street directly opposite St Giles Cathedral and in the midst of the Royal Mile area of the evocative old city. We stayed twice. Our first room with nice views overlooking the street was spacious and superb while our second room at the rear of the building was smaller, quite tight and less satisfactory. However, both rooms were very comfortable, well appointed, nicely decorated and impeccably clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stays in this excellent small and commodious hotel.
Disliked: Breakfast was a rather underwhelming affair, with a very limited offering, but there are many alternatives available for more competitive prices nearby.

Very good

Liked: This hotel was in a great location - right along the Royal Mile and near all the attractions we wanted to see. Nice rooms, and very comfortable. Also, free laundry.
Disliked: The hotel check-in time was 4 pm, already a bit late, but our room wasn't ready until 4:30 pm.

Great we would stay again

Liked: Well placed very comfortable and ammenities were great
Disliked: Could have had a bar

Liked: Fantastic location 50 metres off the Royal Mile.Our second stay and would highly recommend this establishment to others.Well priced amongst it's peers!
Disliked: Nothing to fault on this stay.
