Very enjoyable and comfortable stay...

Liked: The location was perfect, easy walk to the Roman Baths and to a wonderful choice of interesting shops. Also close to Hop-on Hop-off bus stop. Loved the hotel’s classic elegant style.Top marks for fresh milk in the room fridge.
Disliked: The wardrobe space is taken up with mini fridge and hospitality tray, not leaving enough room for any full length garments, and very awkward. Breakfast is £19.50, which is just about ok if you want ‘the works’. It’s a very good spread. But if you only want a modest breakfast it’s far too much. Luckily very good cafe, open from 8am, with excellent croissants very close.

Superb

Liked: We live pretty near to bath and aways go in here for coffee when shopping. The opertunity came that we desied to stop very friendly and clean the bed was ok but need updating.the location is great for eveything an plenty of parking around it and a shot walk from the station good breakfast
Disliked: Beds need up dateting but ok

Disliked: The restaurant is nicely decorated, super friendly staff. Whilst there was a good choice of starters the main course options were limited given the profile of the hotel

One of the best places...

Liked: Firstly, you're greeted with such lovely staff in a beautifully decorated entrance. The decor of the whole building is wonderful. Then you get to the room which is large, has a very comfortable bed, and all the tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom is small, but so nicely decorated, every detail is perfect. Then we had breakfast which was nothing short of an all-you-can eat feast. Great quality food in a very pretty dining room, excellent coffee and the most helpful staff. It was also a shared birthday weekend for me and my partner, the hotel clocked this from my booking and left us a lovely note, a little treat and the courtesy to even wish us a happy birthday :)
Disliked: I couldn't fault it much to be honest. The only thing I could say is my partner and I are the kind of people who have "dirty goth" shouted at us from across the street, and I would say a lot of the other guests were looking at us the same way. But, a hotel of this calibre in a place like bath is hardly surprising

Liked: Beautiful hotel. Lovely clean room. Great breakfast and lovely staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

Superb

Good but can do much...

Liked: Location for touring bath itself
Disliked: The inadequate sized car park meant that spaces were all taken by around early to mid afternoon which means that using the hotel as a base for regional sightseeing ( which is what I was doing) simply does not work. In addition the overcooking of various breakfast items ( pastries, bacon ) was more than a little off putting

We would definitely stay again...

Liked: Lovely environment and very relaxed
Disliked: Staff were lovely. Carpark is an extra cost to take into consideration and there is a service charge on many things. We booked room only and stayed for breakfast on the first day. It was expensive and a service charge applied for a self service breakfast.
