Great location and good facilities....

Liked: Convenient location outside london. Staff very friendly
Disliked: No air conditioning in the rooms and maintenance needed to repair light fittings, shower hoses etc. Very bad lighting in the bathrooms.

Excellent hotel with excellent facilities

Liked: Room was spacious, staff were attentive and facilities were fantastic.
Disliked: The room got quite hot during the night and despite requesting a fan, it did feel quite stuffy without an AC unit. It won't hinder my decision to stay at the hotel again though.

Disappointed in a word, will...

Liked: The setting is attractive.
Disliked: Don’t be fooled by its appearance. The bedrooms and bathrooms are dated. Bedding is cheap, bathroom products poor. Eating for breakfast was chaotic with serving staff stressed and apologetic. We cancelled an evening meal with friends and ate out. This hotel has a very corporate feel and not the boutique experience hoped for. We stayed in a coaching in on Friday night for half the nightly rate which was exceptional compared to here!

Liked: Golf was superb, played the Bernard Hunt
Disliked: Cost of food, we ended up going out to town for a meal

It was good weekend away...

Disliked: Problem for me was that bedroom was without AC!!! plus one more: too many gypsies were their children "walked on their heads" without any supervision, destroying everything.

Nice weekend escape

Liked: The place is superbe.Lot’s of sports opportunities: tennis padel but also yoga class.

Liked: Rooms were well laid out, facilities were great.

A nice stay

Liked: The room was very comfortable, and we had a great massage. For the most part the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: We had higher expectations of the Health Club - unfortunately in this case the pictures didn't do it justice. There were very few places to lounge by the swimming pool and it felt more like a leisure centre than a luxury spa. Our room lacked toiletries (no bubble bath to use in the bath), the water wasn't particularly warm and we found the towels to be scratchy.We had a nice stay, but it didn't live up to our expectations.
