Apart from dinner, disappointing and...
Liked: Dinner
Disliked: Reception staff give directions too quickly; they say it many times per day, guest hears them for first time. On 2 occasions I had to ask for repeat. No hangers in wardrobe, radio didn’t work.Didn’t expect toiletries screwed to the wall with one very small bar of soap.

Wonderful Stay
Liked: We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Foxhills with our two children for my husbands 50th. We stayed for two nights and we’re very impressed with the variety of things for the kids to do. The Pavillion is the family building with large heated indoor and outdoor pools, softplay, games room and a cafe with activities throughout the day for varying ages. It was VERY busy as it was such a Hot weekend as most visitors were members of the country club and not actually hotel guests. There were still plenty of space with lots of deck chairs and loungers for everyone. The residents pool (another heated outdoor pool) was an oasis of calm in comparison. Smaller, but much quieter. There is also an adventure playground and a new little forest garden. We tried out the new forest school type activity with the WONDERFUL Kasia and our children really enjoyed it too. We also did some crafts with her and our kids were so engaged. She is great with children! There are beautiful woodland walks around the property too. My husband used the gym every morning and I had a swim and sauna in the HealthSpa every afternoon and we were very impressed with the facilities. We hd dinner in the Fox Dining Rooms and the food was wonderful. Also had a children’s menu which was excellent and unexpected. Breakfast was very good. Continental buffet and a cooked breakfast if you wish. Good quality ingredients all round. A few little niggles (see below) but overall an absolutely fantastic stay and excellent value for money.
Disliked: The scrambled eggs in the Full English Breakfast were terrible. Stick to fried eggs! Also was not very impressed with the food at restaurant Nineteen. Quite uninspired pub grub and expensive. Beds were a little soft

Could be amazing, but just...
Liked: Venue was amazing. Really nice facilities. Loved the pool, the spa and the food at the fox restaurant.
Disliked: Just seemed like some of the little things werent quite right. No shampoo in the bathroom, some decor, air conditioning non existent, the fan provided was average. Even just the treatment we had at the spa, my wife and i had thr same treatment but one got a slightly different treatment as it turns out. Attention to detail.

Liked: Lovely setting and beautiful grounds, especially enjoyed the spa garden. Overall excellent facilities.
Disliked: Nothing major, I just noticed that the sink in the room was a little grubby, and the shower head needed descaling as the water was not flowing properly.
