Worst place in Depoe Bay

Liked: Location - its a close drive to the beach.
Disliked: The owner was very rude. I waited 45 minutes in the lobby with my toddler because their credit card machine was down, he still couldnt run my card so he wrote down the number. I got to the room, there were small flying bugs covering the ceiling. At 12:30 am, a loud truck pulled up and went into the room next door. They were using a power drill and somesort of chemical tjat was so strong i had to shut the window. The smell still seeped in so much it make botb me and my son sick. The drilling lasted until almost 4am, my son never went bqck to sleep. We checked out around 8. Tqlked to the owner who was extrwmely rude and didnt believe me. He told another gueat that i was trying to scam him. DONT STAY HERE! They are extrwmely unprofessional, dismissive and just downright rude. The bed was hard, the toilet barley flushed.

Good

Liked: Unbelievable coastal views. The Sea Hag restaurant was a high point. Our next table mates, along with the bartender made it one of the best in the 6000 mile journey.
Disliked: Could have hit the lottery

Dirty and old

Disliked: There was poop in the toilet when we arrived. Had to ask twice for it to be cleaned. Rest of the room was also old and not clean. Hairs on the bed that weren’t ours etc…

Disliked: Check in 4pm.

Liked: Location, value, availability.
Disliked: A couple people staying there seemed to be of having some issues. There was a disturbance and a person was removed by law enforcement! But the issue was resolved relatively peacefully, I understand these unfortunate occurrences can happen anywhere.
