Will Be Back!

Liked: The location right next to the babbling creek. The rooms open to a balcony that overlooks the creek & lots of dense greenery (providing a private feel). Sliding glass & screen doors allow you to sleep to the sound of the rushing water -- heavenly! Also, the manager (Thelma?) was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Rooms are not modern, but they are large & clean; and the bed & pillows were very comfy.
Disliked: No elevators to 2nd level, bathrooms not handicapped accessible. More breakfast choices would have been nice, but I'm nitpicking now.

Great location

Liked: Our room was very clean. You entered our room through a door on the street side and could walk through the room to a shared balcony that overlooked the stream. The door overlooking the stream even had the option to open the french door and use a screen door. The sounds in the morning were heavenly.
Disliked: This older hotel has been well renovated, but having the sink inside the bathroom made it a bit challenging for a family of 4 with a teenager to get ready in the morning.

Would have been a nice...

Liked: Room was clean. Beautiful view off the back balcony.
Disliked: I knew the room was smoking, but I wanted the balcony. Did not expect the extent of the smoke. Went and bought two air fresheners. Turned off the air and had doors open. Could barely sleep the first night. Woke up with a sore throat. Three days and two hotels later, my clean clothes still smell like smoke. A little expensive and the breakfast is not worth mentioning.
