Disliked: The restaurant had a very loud group in it, and they were understaffed, so the service was slow.

Disliked: Only complaint was that there were no actual drink glasses in our room. Two paper cups for coffee but no actual glass cups. Kind of cheap really.

Nice and pleasant but disappointed...

Liked: The staff were friendly and very approachable from the front desk to house keeping the next morning. The facilities were clean and organized throughout the property. Quick checkin and checkout. The was plenty of parking and it was kept clean. Entering the room for our stay the thermostat was set at 17.5 C and it was a cold day outside, so made for a frosty reception. But we put the temperature up to 22 and the room temperature was fine in about 10 minutes. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets and plenty of pillows. All the equipment in the room was working and accessible from the tv to the fridge and there were charging stations available as well.
Disliked: As much as we enjoyed our short stay there were a few things we found that would deter us perhaps in the future to stay at this property. First the property looked dated and worn. There have been efforts made in the busiest common areas but the room was old and definitely not updated for a while. Secondly in the bathroom the toilet was so low that both me and my wife were very uncomfortable using it. It was too low to the floor. We both felt it should have been taller and a larger bowl. It was at the bare minimum height for a legal toilet, but when you are older and have a bad knee that has been replaced it makes it difficult to stand up from such a low point to the ground. Also the shower had a shower head that didn’t have enough settings to set the water flow, that I felt washed off the soap from the body. I wish they had a shower head wand. You could take that wand connected to a hose and use it as you need and then place it back in the holder. This is the type we have used in other hotels we visited and made for a more pleasant shower experience. Also stepping in the tub felt like it wasn’t set properly as a cracking sound was made every time I moved in the bathtub. As for the towels they were the least enjoyable I have ever used in a hotel. They were thin and probably the lowest rated towels you could get to be used in a hotel. They were either worn from use and too much washing, or not wanting to spend the money on a quality towel. Also the body wash had too much of a fragrance to it that lasted far too long. But that may be from not being able to wash it off completely. The last item was that all the electrical items on the bed side table were plugged into a power bar which I didn’t notice under the bed till I bumped my toe against it. Thank you to the staff for making it an enjoyable visit.
