We had a great time. Had some amazing food and the night life can't be beaten.

Liked: Being right on Bourbon Street was great. Walking distance of just about everything we wanted to see.
Disliked: Just the usual smell of the area, but it's to be expected.

Liked: The decoration of my room was very nice and the staff are very kind
Disliked: -The hotel is located in a very noisy area. It is on Bourbon Street where all the nightclubs and bars are situated. So I had to ask for a room at the side of the pool because the noise starts less at 11:00 am and finishes around 2:00 o'clock every day! During the weekends it is worse! Music in the street and the bar that is in front is unbearable! When I asked if the room was noisy, they told me I could use earplugs, but I do not pay a hotel to use earplugs, and I am very sensitive to noise. So I had to change my room. -Breakfast starts at 8:00 am! I went to a congress, and the talks started at 8:00 am, so I missed the first talk because I had to wait until 8:00 o'clock to have breakfast! The food is not good and the coffee is terrible!-The staff did not make my bed or clean my room on Sunday. I think the price I paid for my room was not cheap, so I expected at least to have my room cleaned every day! -On the last day, I had to leave the airport very early, so I asked if I could pay the bill earlier, and it was not possible, so I left the hotel without knowing how much they would charge on my credit card.

Disliked: Very noisy. There's a bar directly across the street that's very loud. There is no 2 am cutoff in NOLA. The staff provides ear plugs, but they don't block out the noise.
