Disliked: No one answered phone. Called over 20 times because my flight was delayed

Nice, clean but hotel facility...
Liked: Rooms were clean, food was good
Disliked: Rooms and hotel are very dated and need an uplift. I’m surprised Sheraton and Marriott hasn’t updated this facility as yet.

Nate at the front desk...
Liked: Convenient location to get to Port Everglades. Bistro on property with delicious food. Walking distance to CVS & Whole Foods. Very friendly & helpful staff.This is the second time I’ve stayed here.
Disliked: Because I booked thru Booking.com the property will not give me an invoice which I need to get reimbursed from my Airline who canceled my flight.

Liked: Breakfast was good although expensive. Shuttle to the cruise ship was nice, friendly driver, punctual. Dinner at the bar was okay.

WORST STAY!!
Liked: I honestly didn't like anything about the hotel including the area. The hotel looks very old even on the outside!
Disliked: well lets start with the staff- very unpleasant and totally not helpful . one of our other guests was in wheel chai and asked front desk to call a taxi for him, they turned around and gave him the number to call , so he did and after 20 mins he went in and told them , they said for him to retry calling the number again!! Totally not customer service at all! Then there were cockroaches in our room. 3 to be exact and our family had a room too and saw a roach in they're washroom, so we told front desk and all they said was, we will give you a free $20 breakfast for 1 person tomorrow! Are you kidding me, not even an apology at all nothing !! We stayed there in room ##720 - Feb 15-17/2024 with 3 other couples. the outside pool area had no towels and when they finally put some , they were all mixed colors the size of tea towels. A group of us sat out by the pool in the sun and homeless people were banging on the fence and screaming which is so not a comfortable feeling at all ! It really made us nervous and unsafe . Also out side by the pool the garbage can was so over filled and not emptied at all, by lunch the following day, it was still exactly as it was day prior. We Paid $635.85 US and $111.44 US to stay in the worst hotel ever for us ! I would have thought that because you were part of the Sheraton/Marriot, it would have been a very clean, roach free, friendly staff and well staffed and very safe place to stay in. I will never stay there again and we cruise from Fort Lauderdale 2-3 times a year. So I'll book us else where for sure going forward and we will not recommend this hotel to anyone! Matter a fact I'll make sure to poste the pictures we don't showing all the evidence of our stay! I also want to say that, I don't agree with this hotel, charging a room tax when you have roaches in the rooms and staff are miserable!!RegardsMrs Trina Medeiros
