Very nice hotel, convenient to...

Liked: We liked how clean the property was, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient to LGA.
Disliked: We stopped into the bar, the gentleman jumped up from eating to welcome us. But the girl behind the bar was a little surly, and seemed annoyed that we stopped in at 9:30pm. We had a long day after 2 flight cancellations, so were just looking to relax a little. She made a point to tell us they closed at 9:30, even though the doors were open.

Overall a positive experience. Two...

Liked: Coffee bar was a nice touch to our morning wakeup routine. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful whenever we had questions or concerns and they were always sympathetic if we asked for help. The room was spotless, beds were amazingly comfortable, and housekeeping staff were diligent. Rooms were quiet despite it being a busy time (a concert at Citi Field brought tons of fans who were very energetic and excited). We had no trouble sleeping. Air conditioning was very efficient--despite outdoor temps in the high 80s we were able to be chilly in our room!
Disliked: In-room microwave access would have been far more convenient than having to share ONE machine with the entire hotel.The TWO fire alarms that went off back-to-back in the same morning were incredibly inconvenient for sleeping late, and we had difficulty exiting the building (dragging heavy luggage down several floors via a staircase, with no communication or general announcements from the front desk to let us know it was not an emergency).

Pretty good

Liked: The room was really spacious, clean (although we found a used tape dispenser hidden in the curtains?) and I loved the shower. The elevator was always easy to catch and the inside seating area was really nice too.
Disliked: Just a lot of construction in the area and the view was meh.

Very good

Liked: I didn't like that there was only one fee of $17.00 at the restaurant for adults. I would love to have chosen something off the menu. There was no one available to greet us or offer any options. Only a sign with the price.
Disliked: Breakfast options.
