Wouldn’t stay here again and...

Liked: The restaurant area
Disliked: Very run down and old fashioned for the price the hotel charge for one night. Water wasn’t hot in shower and you can’t see out the windows, they are too high, wood all chipped in room and bathroom floor tile cracked. Went for a drink in the bar and they had ran out of vodka, waiter said it was due to Robbie Williams concert on the Sat but this was Wednesday, I said there’s a Tesco three doors down you could purchase some there, and I was ignored, the older man behind the bar just drew us a queer look. The receptionist wasn’t professional and I couldn’t really understand her accent. I’ve travelled a lot and this is certainly up there with the worst hotel we have stayed in. Also cheap flat pillows on the bed.

Very good

Liked: The room had everything you might need for a short business trip. The room was a little dark even with all the lights on, which wasn't an issue for me, but people with vision impairments might find it problematic. The staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant is very nice and breakfast was very good.
Disliked: The wifi was a little slow

Perfect for our overnight stay....

Liked: Really liked that the bus stop into city centre is right outside the hotel.

Liked: The staff was very attentive and saw we were having a bad day. They did their best to make it right.
Disliked: The bathroom shower floor was coming apart. Some bits of grouting coming out.

Housekeeping and cleanliness is bad...

Liked: The location is good, rooms are spacious, breakfast spread is good. There are supermarkets and Indian restaurants
Disliked: The Housekeeping is very bad. They don’t even change the towel even if it was kept down after using. There were used tissues in the bathroom which were not taken out. The bathroom floor had dirt with was not cleaned. The tap water kept on leaking continuously . The cleaning was a major concern as we expected a standard when we book stay with a renowned name.
