Liked: The hotel was fabulous. We've stayed in loads of hotels in the CBD but never 4 Points by Sheraton. The highlight was the rooftop bar. Fantastic! My only negative was that the room is small. Just the bed really - although it was comfortable.

Average, room was comforrable but...
Liked: Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a good size
Disliked: Customer service was poor, didn't communicate with us well and room service was very slow, or they forgot. Very little was available on there menus and twice when we asked about what we could have they suggested we go to the local market and buy it ourselves

Not the stay I was...
Liked: The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed.
Disliked: Covid 19 has clearly changed life in recent months in NZ. The hotel was housing some quarantined individuals as per Government requirement under Lockdown level two. It would have been nice to know this fact before arriving at the property. I was issued with special passes that would allow me access to a lift that was separate and I was housed in a separate floor and advised of a separate entrance. Hmmmm...ok. Advanced notification of this would have been appropriate one would think. That being said I was gob smacked at being interrogated every single time I attempted to leave the property via the entrance reserved for non quarantine guests. In addition to this, the food situation was a joke. I was treated like I was in quarantine again. Served room service orders in boxes, rather than on plates - why? We are at level 2. Not level 4. Restaurants are operating and serving food on plates all over the country now. Why can?t they figure out how to do this is a Sheraton Hotel? They seem to have forgotten that in the long term they want their regular business travellers to come back, but why would they when this is the experience? I could go on, but I can?t be bothered. So many disappointments. Suffice to say, this was my first stay at this hotel. It will be my last. I?ll be sticking to hotels in Auckland where I?ve stayed while in level 2 lockdown, that have a sensible interpretation of the lockdown rules and serve me my food on plates and don?t treat me like I have the Black Plague.

Room was not cleaned day...
Liked: Great location basic facilities
Disliked: Staff most likely I was made to pay another 100 for another day this is unheard of in Auckland plus my amenities weren?t redone or room was cleaned next day
