Liked: I liked how it was a block away from the event we wanted to go to. We also got to explore the history of the town more.. I liked how it felt so at home and was treated as such. The owners were very friendly n our breakfasts were very delicious.

Disliked: The lack of hot water in the basin for shavingThe poor shower pressure - half the shower water ran out of the bathroom tap!

Liked: The English Breakfast was wonderful. Our hosts were so friendly and caring!
Disliked: Unfortunately we were only in town for 1 nite, so did not get to enjoy our hosts hospitality longer.

Liked: Positive attitude of the hosts, we appreciate the effort and work into living their dream. Room was clean.
Disliked: The rating and reviews seemed to exceed the reality of this accomodation and location. We expected more from an excellent rating.

Very reasonable price compared to...

Liked: Shawn & Jeannie were very friendly & personable. Older home well maintained & friendly dogs part of the welcome committee :) Gave a good overview of the home & room upon arrival. Excellent breakfast & coffee in the morning. We tried each option for Continental, English, and Special of the day. All were excellent. A nice touch w/the coffee using a French Press brought to our table.
Disliked: A heat wave in the region. The room had good air conditioning, but main area did not. It was understandable since most of the time this would not be an issue.

Liked: Both Shawn and Jeannie SO hospitable, going out of their way to be sure all was to our liking. We enjoyed our chats with each of them during our stay. Breakfast scrumptious and plentiful!! Home was inviting and comfortable. A convenient location within walking distance to the cute rural downtown of Girard, which was close to our destination and family in the area. Area literature and books in the living room and pictures of local history for discovering the Erie shoreline and attractions. Wine country, too!
