Liked: Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfy
Disliked: breakfast in form of cereal was provided, but milk was out of date.

Honestly - We only stayed...

Liked: The shower was amazing, the water pressure in the morning was fantastic, bathroom was nice, very light. Looks modern in the hallways although this carrys noise quite heavily. Owners / managers are very friendly and helpful, got us a parking spot on their neighbours drive which was kind as the nearest carpark (that's not filled with caravans) is a walk with bags. Nice large rooftop area for smoking, the ringneck parakeets fly over so that was lovely. Pretty clean throughout. Hallways smell nice.
Disliked: The hotel charged extra for the room "at their discretion" apparently as they closed the pub for private hire - unfair when the discount had nothing to do with us and you can get the same quality for half the price in nicer parts of the country. Room was small for a double. TV didn't work as there was not enough signal.Breakfast is just cereal in your room but I can't eat cereal and they weren't able to offer anything else. Only 1 pillow and 1 towel each.It's a noisy area, loud people and police sirens during the night, beggers out at night acting intimidating, we were dressed up for the event and did not feel comfortable at all. The local takeaways are best avoided, I was OK but had to bin most of my food and bf was sick.

Liked: The room was very clean & tidy, bed was comfortable. Really good value for money.

The staff were polite, however...

Liked: The room was spacious. We got fresh towels daily.
Disliked: The hotel reception was not open until 1pm, at this point we were out and when we arrived back at the hotel there was no one available as the doors were locked due to private functions. On one of the days, we did not receive clean bowls, cups or spoons, and as the hotel reception were not available I then had to go to the shop for washing up liquid to clean the pots myself which was not ideal. We didn’t sleep well and neither did our young child due to the loud music from the private parties, it would have been nice to have been forewarned about this so we knew what to expect.

Liked: Rooms were clean
Disliked: No air conditioning. We were taken to a room at the top of the hotel that was in the roof, so it didn't have a window. It was like a sauna. We asked to be moved and the other room was on a lower floor with a window. There was no aircon, so even this room was uncomfortably hot. Outside temperature was only 22 degrees.
