Very hot for intensive exploration.

Liked: No frills hotel well placed for South Station, Boston Common, Esplanade, North End and USS Constitution (via Common) and Boylston St (Back Bay restaurants), also Red (for Harvard) and Green Transit lines (via Common).
Disliked: The sheet suggesting cafes and restaurants. While extensive and someone went to a lot of trouble I used none of the recommendations. Two seafood restaurants listed are up-market. You can get a decent dinner at Landwer on Boylston Rd and Salty Dog next to Quincy Market. I could not find Hei La Moon (Chinese) on Essex St.

Disliked: Rooms are very tiny. Mattress worn out. No insulations in the walls. Very old and overpriced.

Great value hotel option

Liked: Excellent location, very clean. Free coffee and bag storage. Great value compared to surrounding hotels
Disliked: AC kept making a very loud noise and woke us up about 5-6 times throughout the night

Liked: Dylan on reception was FANTASTIC- great location in Boston & good value
Disliked: Rooms were very spacious and we didn’t spend much time in the rooms - but 1 room was a bit dark with no views… had a retro 70s feel to them
