Clean classic hotel in great...

Liked: Location excellent. Walkable to transport hubs and city centre areas. Spotlessly clean. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Disliked: Air con not very effective- room very warm. No safe in room. Bed a little hard for my liking. Renovations in Building so hotel sign taken down - difficult to find initially.

Liked: It was very cozy and the staff were kind.
Disliked: The elevator was out and it was quite a lot of stairs to hoist up my luggage. Luckily when I checked out the reception agent brought the bag downstairs for me.

Exceptional

A great base, very friendly...

Liked: We stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very central in the city so there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and the sites were within easy reach. The bus and train station are only 10-15 mins walk away, a taxi from the bus station to the hotel was only 9 euros. We had the Italian morning breakfast which was a mix of pastry, fruit and yoghurt with juice and coffee which worked for us. The staff spoke excellent English and so made our stay very easy. The weather was extremely hot whilst we were in Trieste and so the air-conditioning in our room was not brilliant but it kept us a little cooler.
Disliked: The size of our room (108) I would describe as compact, with two suit cases we didn't really have much space to leave them out and there was nowhere to sit, it was the bed or nothing. There wasn't a lounge or area with comfy seats in the hotel to go to.

Will stay again!

Liked: Do NOT BOOKI was locked out when wanted to check in , rang multiple times and they didn’t answer, now won’t refund me
Disliked: Nothing don’t stay here !!!
