Disliked: I did not like the fact that our room was on the 2nd floor of adjacent building with no elevator.

Mediocre at Best; Look elsewhere...

Liked: The view from the hotel I think is what we were paying for although that still didn't justify the cost. We had a beautiful view of the lake however first you had to see past the poorly landscaped lawn, seats you had to pay extra for to sit in, pool that hasn't been updates in decades and over a mediocre at best restaurant.
Disliked: Just about everything was disappointing here. We asked to be in the main building (as we were traveling with two seniors and 2 babies) in two together rooms. This was not accommodate. We were placed in the "newly renovated" east building which had zero (negative?) curb appeal, couldn't find the entrance amidst the back of house landscaping, and steps. Additionally, we didn't get adjoining rooms. Instead one room joined with another who was probably the loudest person we've ever slept next to with the connecting rooms it was as if the walls were made of paper.Our rooms were located on the second floor, but there was no elevator (see note about 2 seniors and 2 babies) so we had to schlep everything up and down two flights, including strollers. It was a royal pain and the stairs (carpeted, and seemingly not renovated were particularly gross).The landscaping of the property left everything to be desired, there was no green grass, no blooming trees like the website boasted, it just looked sad and uncared for.The pool was dangerous. I watched to (more senior than us people) attempt to get in and out one day by putting their hands out, leaning over and leaving it to chance hoping they caught the edge - the hand rail only takes you to the first step. Wildly dangerous. Around the pool area there are plenty of seats (yay!) but only 4 umbrellas for possibly 100 seats? It's all concrete that's painted gross brown, gets super hot, has cracks all over the place. The inside of the pool also seemed like it hadn't been updated in forever.There's only one water fountain in the main building, so to get water for the baby bottles, I had to go down and walk forever to the main building. Skip the free coffee in the morning, I think it's powdered and just a waste of energy to drink.Security on the property was a joke, anyone could get in or out, it felt a bit unsafe at night.

It was a long dream...

Disliked: The door to the room didn’t shut well. I locked it when I got in and it was so hard to unlock that we didn’t use the turn lock. My companion shut the door Sunday night and Monday morning when I went out to walk I realized it had been open all night. It looked shut but it was not. Also someone spilt makeup in the bathroom before we got there. There were remnants of it in the bathroom door.
