Good place, wrong staff.

Liked: Great location, walking distance from downtown Mobile. Great parking, like in a movie.
Disliked: Southern welcoming is not there. Rude staff at first, then a little nicer. But first impresions are the ones that cares, same at breakfast.

Liked: It was a very cozy place. the restaurant St Emanuel is a must, excellent food and an amazing staff. loved the cobblestone and the lanterns. Sends you back in time.

The best place to stay...

Liked: Plenty of space for the family and the privacy of having our own space. Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Great customer service! Private parking behind the family bungalow. Super comfortable beds. Very clean. Great layout. The included breakfast was delicious. Great location, walking distance from several points of interests. Quiet area!
Disliked: Only 1 room key. Unfortunately, the area nearby is wooded so spiders/ insects are coming in from outside. We didn't like that there was a random cat outside on the patio.

Liked: Tastefully remodel of old buildings, awesome staff, really good food at St Emanuel Bistro.
Disliked: Nothing

Overall good stay for the...

Liked: Beautiful location, clean rooms, comfortable bed, great towels and bedding. There was a lot of outside light from the strings lights that cross the streets. It was very bright, we were hoping they would turn them off by midnight but they stayed on all night. This place is great for a quiet getaway to relax.
Disliked: The restaurant was nothing special and way overpriced. We were disappointed in the price of our meal and the taste.

Slept like a baby!

Liked: I haven't slept so well in years. Need to find out what kind of mattress it was. All of the staff were exceptional. Located in a beautiful, quiet area close to everything.
