Liked: All of the food was amazing, great location and comfortable bed! The staff was very attentive too. Felt like I was at home!
Disliked: The AC in the room could’ve been stronger but I guess that’s the south this time of year!

It's a lovely old Bed...

Liked: The hotel itself is quite beautiful and is nicely located across the street from lovely Forsyth Park. The room was large and attractive. The breakfast was very good. The staff was especially attentive - particularly the evening hostess Kiley!
Disliked: The one thing that needs attention is the bathroom floor. They need to really clean it better. Truthfully, the dingy condition stood out to us. At first we thought it was just the age of the marble. But in the morning we took a small dark hand towel, wet it with hot water, and tested a spot for ourselves. And we were able to actually clean the grime off. That's the only issue - honestly.

Liked: Outstanding staff and you feel like you’re visiting a family. The house is beautifully furnished and very elegant. Lovely breakfasts on the veranda, overlooking Forsyth Park and fun (if limited) offerings every evening for Happy Hour. Later a very good homemade cake is offered. Outside the door is the DOT free bus service.
Disliked: A couple of small issues that every old house has, but the staff were very quick to react.

Liked: I rarely rate hotels with a 10 but the Forsyth Park is exceptional on all counts. It's a beautiful period hotel that is very well maintained.It's situated in a historic part of the town facing the park. Walking distance to all the attractions and also served by a free trolley bus, which stops outside.Street parking was no problem, spaces right in front of the main entrance.The staff were super friendly, Dwayne was very cheerful and gave us great advice on the city.
