Liked: Lovely spacious room great decor. Staff very helpful and dog friendly.

Nice hotel, despite the crows!...

Liked: Situated in lovely grounds next to a beautiful waterfall. Staff/hotel very accommodating on our changing requests.
Disliked: Cars all got covered with crow mess- there a lot of crows!! Felt dinner was very expensive for what it was, tiny bowl of soup £19.

Liked: This was somewhere I used to recommend as a costly but well worth visit to an establishment that understood its values. A quality hunting lodge style hotel in lovely grounds.
Disliked: Sadly, this property has lost its attention to detail and looks a little sad. The staff don’t appear to have the same guidance or support as in our previous visits.

Liked: Beautiful little hotel in a stunning location. Lovely and friendly staff. Delicious fine dining and an exceptional breakfast. Very comfortable stay.
Disliked: Service was a bit slow over dinner but they appeared to be short staffed - yet, despite this, everyone was professional and cheerful.

Liked: Super hotel with really lovely staff and amazing food.
Disliked: No major dislikes. We stayed in the main house and could hear the plumbing from the room next door, but acknowledge that this is an old building and just part of its character. It would have been brilliant if the dinner menu could have had a slight variation on our second day.

Pleasant hotel , good for...

Liked: Staff were helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were good. Room was made up as a twin which we hadn't requested but was fine. Lovely fluffy towels and water was hot which was great for shower and bath. Bath itself was good.
Disliked: Would have liked body lotion in bathroom otherwise everything was fine.
