Liked: I booked a hotel room for a weekend trip with my friends. We all live in Chicago and decided to spend the weekend in St. Louis, so we drove there. When we arrived at the hotel, they told us they had canceled our reservation due to overbooking, and that they had sent an email informing guests who had chosen to pay at the hotel, which was one of the options available on the website at the time of booking. The email was sent only two hours before our check-in time, and since we were driving, we didn’t see it. It was incredibly frustrating and completely disrupted our trip

We ended up not staying...

Liked: Staff on arrival was friendly.
Disliked: Room was not clean, stains on walls and floors. Ripped curtains. Smelled awful. Had to switch rooms due to exterior door on first room not locking.

Liked: The staff was friendly.
Disliked: Carpet was dingy and stained, white crusty stains on the curtain, blankets on the beds, and cover of the Bible. Light fixtures, mirrors, and art was loose and slanted. Room phone did not work. Had one wash cloth on the room. Shower water temp was difficult to adjust. Door lock was loose to door and sliding glass door to balcony. Could smell heavy odor of meth and marijuana on the floor we stayed on.
