A brilliant week where the...

Liked: Amazing location for the New Forest park. Plenty of parking and a beautiful hotel building with a lovely garden.
Disliked: There wasn’t anything to dislike it was excellent.

Liked: Very good breakfast .. delicious compote .. Not so pleased with the extra £5 for eggs benedict etc !Amazing evening meal ..

Totally relaxing

Liked: The Hotel was exceptional quality. The staff was so friendly.breakfast was amazing filled us up for the day. The great points was the New Forest Pony’s would walk or stand opposite the hotel eating grass. Will definitely go back to this hotel again.
Disliked: Nothing at all we like so can’t put nothing here.

Exceptional

A very lovely character Hotel...

Liked: Excellent with very good quality and serviceAll of the Staff were very helpful and attentive.
Disliked: The toilet was much to close to the wall and had we been fat individuals it would have been unusable. The bathroom was very clean and had all the exspected equipment

Pleasant

Disliked: The hotel is in a lovely location. The staff are very pleasant. Our room was quite small and the bathroom was tiny. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 1am and then again 15 minutes later, both false alarms. We had a 2nd floor room an we didn't have the heating on but it was still very hot. The hotel looks a little tired from the outside but is very clean inside and a good 3 star hotel. Nice gardens at the rear will be nice in the summer. The hotel is dog friendly which isn't a problem but unfortunately the guests with dogs eat their meals in the bar area. We cam back from an early dinner somewhere else and we had to sit in the garden as all the tables were being used by diners. All in all though we had a nice stay and would probably go back again.
