Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club

Had a brilliant time; all the staff were cheerful and helpful - a real credit to the hotel. The breakfast was fabulous - great choice available and the restaurant food also lovely.

A beautiful place, we loved...

Liked: From the moment we pulled into the car park, the hotel and grounds were all very lovely. Went for a spa day and booked a room too. We had a fabulous time. Staff were all very pleasant. Handed slippers, a towel and robe at no extra cost. Treatments were lovely and we enjoed the spa facilities. Had dinner in the restaurant and were not disappointed, the food was lovely, restaurant was lovely and we were very comfortable. Holly and William were fabulous :) Thank you both so much for being so kind, caring and accommodating in the restaurant. A great end to a fabulous day. We'll definitely we going again.

Lovely hotel excellent amenities

Liked: Great staff, lovely room, nice breakfast, good value especially for a last minute booking.
Disliked: Could do with a lick of paint in a few places but that's a really minor criticism.It's also huge (but doesn't feel it)so when you arrive back late after a very good night out the walk to you room can take a while.

Liked: Friendly staff. very clean. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: I booked dinner bed and breakfast package as a little treat for myself and my 13 year old daughter as I have not been able to afford a holiday this year. Bit on arrival I was told I had to then put down a 50 pounds fee that would be used for drinks and such and would be transferred back to my account in 4 to 5 working days I was embarrassed as I wasn't sure if I had this in my account a warning would of been nice.. after a lovely swim in the pool we went back upto the room to get ready for dinner my daughter was drying her hair and the hairdryer blew up on her. I pulled the plug and tried calling reception but no answer I had to go down with smoking hairdryer soaking wet hair and wait in line to be told someone would come bring a new one. 1 hour later at 30 minutes before dinner was booked out door just opened and a lady from maintenance let herself in no nock on the door nothing and gave me a new hairdryer.
