Had a brilliant time; all the staff were cheerful and helpful - a real credit to the hotel. The breakfast was fabulous - great choice available and the restaurant food also lovely.

Liked: The room was comfy and the facilities were good. The front desk and leisure staff were friendly.
Disliked: The carpets were horrible, the bedroom surfaces were dusty and breakfast was a bit hectic. Also we accidentally left something on the table which was just swept into the bin.

Liked: The location was excellent. Close to both Coventry and Birmingham. The forest setting was very scenic, and the entrance to the hotel, with the stag and the greenery, was eye-catching. Checkin was smooth but directions to the room were not very clear.
Disliked: Our room was a king deluxe but was rather smaller than I expected, and the bathroom was acceptable. No air con and the room could do with renovation. The soundproofing was poor as we could hear everything out in the corridor and in the room next door.Food was average but good value for money with the buffet style dining. The coffee machine was very poor quality, I think it used UHT and not fresh milk, so the coffee did not taste great.The restaurant was very loud in the evening with groups of men from the golf course so not conducive to a quiet meal for a couple as you could not talk easily.

Liked: Pool,Sauna and Jacuzzi was good.
Disliked: There was no AC in the room, only a small fan, which was not enough for a family of 4. Breakfast was just ok.

Liked: Nice location. Plenty of space for parking. Plenty of space for golf. Pool okay. Nice reception area. Working lift. Staff were polite
Disliked: Outdated building. No A/C. Old carpets, showers taking ages to get to temperature and not consistent.The poolside changing rooms about to fall off. Steam room outdated and doesn’t feel clean.The worst was the restaurant. I have spent my whole Sunday recovering from that spoilt food they serve. Made me throw up a few times. Overpriced and not worth the money. Breakfast was disappointing. Won’t be visiting again even if it comes for free.
